Important Information About Surrender Requests
Please note that submitting this form does not guarantee acceptance into Fawn’s Family Rescue. Each surrender request is carefully reviewed based on space availability, the individual needs of the cat, the urgency of the circumstances, and the cat’s ability to transition successfully into our rescue environment.
We strive to prioritize cats who are facing unexpected life changes, abandonment, or other urgent needs. Traits such as social adaptability, temperament, and health status are also considered during our evaluation process.
Surrender fees are determined on a case-by-case basis and help offset the cost of medical care, food, and rehabilitation. Owners may voluntarily pledge additional financial support to assist with their cat’s care after surrender. While pledges are never required, they can positively impact our ability to accept a cat when resources are limited.
We kindly ask that you provide truthful and accurate information throughout the application. If we approve a surrender request but later find that claims made cannot be supported with reasonable documentation (such as veterinary records, vaccination proof, or medical history), we reserve the right to revoke the approval.
